Welcome back to Video Vibe Thursday, I’m Donna Clark! This week I wanted to talk about the value of video testimonials and what you should include or not include!
The best time to ask for a video testimonial is right after you have finished working with your happy client! Ask them to provide it right away while it is fresh in their mind and they are excited about results.
Ask them to be specific. What tangible results did they achieve because they worked with you? More clients? more time? more money?
There are different ways to shoot testimonials. They can look right into the camera or they can talk to you standing beside the camera. It is a little more relaxing for them if they are just talking to you.
Keep it short, no more than a minute. They do not need to use their name and company name in the testimonial, but it is a good idea to get it on tape.
I hope this tip helps! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to message me or visit my website at http://www.dcvideocreations.com. Have a great day!!
Thank-you for sharing your professional and always concise advice about how and when to ask for testimonials, DOnna. I will put this into practice this coming Sunday after speaking at one of my favorite venues. Positively, Pauline
