Welcome back to Video Vibe Thursday! This week I wanted to talk about something a little different. Rather than video techniques, I thought I’d talk about golfing and how it can be related to business.

Golf is great for networking, it’s great for improving your techniques and it’s great for increasing your sales, so golf is an enjoyable and effective way to network

You can get to know you partners on a different level. Just like with networking, a vital component to business golf is before the round, think about what you hope to get out of the day, outlining your goals and how you plan to meet them. Your first priority is making sure you and your playing partner enjoy the day.

Just like in business we need to practice our craft. We may be good at what we do but it doesn’t mean we don’t have to practice and work on our business to be the best that we can be. Just look at Tiger Woods or any professional golfer – they are pros but still practice every day!  We owe it to our clients to be up to date with current technology.

The one thing about golf is that you may have a few bad holes but it only takes one amazing drive to make your day and keep you coming back. Relating that to business, it takes one sale to make your day!  And the best time to make a sale is just after you have made a sale!
