Hi There, I’m Donna Clark. Welcome back to Video Vibe Thursday!

This week I was in the studio shooting some video for clients so I thought I would shoot mine here as well! This week I wanted to talk about scripting and what your scripts for your videos should include. First of all, you want to talk about the pain points your clients are experiencing. Second, you want to talk about who you are, what you do and how you can solve their pain, and third, you want to close your video with a call to action – let your viewers know what they need to do next.

So, first of all, the pain points. What are the top three questions you are often asked about what you do? And if clients or potential clients are coming to you, what is it they need help with? So maybe take the top three questions that you are often asked and use those. Put those into three questions or even two, but I would say three!

Second of all, you want to introduce yourself. You want to let your viewers know who you are, what you do and how you can solve their pain.

Third, you want to close your video with a call to action. What is it you want them to do next? Do you want them to visit your website? Do you want them to set up a call or email you? What is the best way to get in contact with you so you can talk to them and get a feel for what it is they need help with?

So for example, my quick video script would be something like:

“Are you an entrepreneur struggling to find clients? You know you should be using video but you just haven’t started yet? Hi, I’m Donna Clark. I work with entrepreneurs and business owners to produce creative videos that tell your story. They let your potential clients know who you are, what you do and how you can help them. For those of you who are ready to get started with video, give me a call or visit my website DCVideoCreations.com. I’d love to chat with you and get you started because video is such an important medium that we all should be using to promote our business.”

Have a great day!
